Send The Troops

Written in 2009

The weather declared war on us today
And attacked with great fiery and little remorse
We do not appreciate these actions
And dislike Mother Earth for sending her troops to attack
But how strong a parallel does our actions,
Draw to these elements?
And how much control do we have on our behaviour?
Like today's, tomorrow's and yesterday's current events
And the respect we give our mother
We will continue to feel the wrath
From the one true, pure and unique thing
In this ever changing,
Ever progressing,
Ever mistaken,
Ever wrong
World.
